Dorset lambs from W. & K. Carson, Downkillybegs, triumphed in the Dorset class (over 42.5kg liveweight) at the Royal Ulster Premier Beef & Lamb Championship, Balmoral, Lisburn. The prizewinning lambs sold for £260 each to the renowned Morning Star Restaurant, Belfast.
Best Pair of Dorset Lambs (36–42.5kg)
Congratulations to Richard McKeown from Ballyclare, awarded the title for Best Pair of Dorset Lambs (36–42.5kg), sponsored by LMC.
The pair later sold to Alfie Murray, Killyleagh for £200.
The Lamb Young Handler (8–11 Years) title, sponsored by Connolly’s RED MILLS, was awarded to Caroline McKeown from Ballyclare.
